Oil & Oak is a community Gift Shop & Gallery, supporting local independent makers, creators and artists. Located in the beautiful Hay-on-Wye, in the Welsh Borderlands, we are proudly unique, artisan and independent.

Showcasing over 40 local creatives and their handmade sustainable gifts, we want to support as many artists and makers as we can. Oil & Oak is a curated space for contemporary craft and design from Wales and beyond.

We stock a range of Jewelery, Homewares, Clothing, Greetings Cards, Wrapping Paper, Vegan Gifts, Original Artwork, Prints, Beauty Products, Dried Flowers, Sustainable Products, Ceramics and Sculptures.

We also have a Gallery and Workshop space upstairs, hosting artists and makers wanting to share their skills with you. As well as it being a safe space for Hay-on-Wye’s younger residents to enjoy Art Club.

Found Gallery | Brecon

Found Gallery is situated in the middle of Brecon town centre and offers a refreshing, diverse and encouraging stance of what a contemporary art gallery can and should be. The changing exhibition programme showcases emerging as well as established creative talent.

Having always been interested in contemporary art and ceramics the owner Punch Maughan has enjoyed developing a space to show off the work of artists and makers that she has discovered and met over the last few years. Spread over two floors the lower gallery is often dedicated to photography.

Found Gallery is usually open 10am – 4.30pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
